Spies what do I feel like we should have a theme song here, or somebody shooting a no spies at the magic word no, I'll give him permission to shoot us, picking us up. Fine, we got a look at that. I did not play Sam Rockwell, I didn't look at the casting inside from Henry Kaplan, bryce Dallas, thanks to you. Yeah, so I just Sam, eat with the fish till here. And you know, like the hobo Samuel Jackson, I didn't recognize them at all. I Kind of heard the voice and it was. It was hitting wires in the brain like yeah, is that guy? Yeah, but was not in it all that much. No, but they did, but they definitely jumped it, jump, cut him in a lot. Yeah, what do you mean? They were same person? No, because she was picturing him being sad and Rockwell for half of first half of the movie.
Speaker 1:Oh my god, well, that's just her brain putting two and two together. Yeah, well, but John Cena thing, never, yeah, I still you picture. Yeah, yeah, I'm flattered by the way. That was kind of cool. I'm flattered, by the way, when I ended up being the same person. So, ray, for my problem with the movie. Oh god, negatives, right? No, he's got one one, and this isn't a movie negative by any means, it's just my brain being a problem. I'm very gates on oil. No, that you know, that's a physics problem, that's all that you Know. Sparks in oil, those sparks, oh, is that gonna be? Is that gonna be a problem? You tried to change the screen time out, but you know, Like it's not a display, we're gonna figure out something else with that one. Okay, grape with the movie. Like I said, this is just going to be my brain.
Speaker 1:So the entire time they were doing the love angle between Bryce's character and Sam's character, yeah, you spent the entire first half of the movie telling us that she was picturing everybody as John and Henry. So I'm picturing the entire hallway scene with the glitter, smoke, the dancing and everything else. Is Henry Cavill and John Cena in this lovely duffy moment Didn't help when they were going away from the boat. Yes, so the entire goddamn high like brain is transiting into period. That's why I joked with you in a car after he John Cena thing has a big cable. So that was my problem, because my brain is having issues differentiating, because you kept putting these characters in the.
Speaker 1:I thought they were gonna do that. You can tell it was a. You can tell it was a. Matthew Vaughn over. He's got his. He's got his secret for explosions. He's got his signature style. I don't think, though. I'm confused. I'm like that was that hard.

Speaker 1:Unfortunately, enough people were shot in the head in the Kingsman movies that they're already at our. Is that how it works? There's like an F bomb tie and you know headshots. I thought it was a blood thing in sex scenes. No, it's been headshots. That's when the defining line so far Wow, boom headshot, boom headshot. So cat scratching out eyes doesn't count. They didn't really show it, they cut the cat would cover it up. Sorry, brian, you're amazing in that movie though, brian Francis, especially a daddy twist. Speaker 1:That song is catchy as hell for no reason. Yeah, well, though, my problem was is when we saw the first Omen trailer the song playing that is I associate with Vikings TV show. It was the same song. Yeah, it was, yeah, it was. Now, I was more so watching the whole backwards thing, like, okay, I get a good time to relate it to the whole talking backwards record thing being the devil. Well, my problem with that, my problem with that was is that they're playing that song and was backtrack and slow motion when the Vikings trailer is that song and slow motion. Yeah, the entire shipwrecks, things are all slip of slow motion. It's making it. It's making it a really big fan of that franchise. I'm curious, what's that? It's a good TV show. Yeah, I saw my Omen.
Speaker 1:Oh, if it is a part of the Omen, I'm thinking I think it is. How's it called? The first is supposed to be a reboot, most likely. Who bloody knows at this point? Speaker 1:I don't have no issues with it. I don't get why the critics are pretty down on it, but maybe there's too much going on. You can't eat. No, you can't get my opinion on the tomato meter at all, cuz you know me it. I get it, but I still will always use it as a rough guy. Just, I'm curious. I'm always curious. Other people think you know how many reviews from movies I watch. I like getting seeing everyone's opinion on a fucking movie. I don't care the glory audience score and see what they say. Audience can actually enjoy a movie. Then the movie is good and there are movies that are so, so bad that they're good. It goes exist.
Speaker 1:I was doing a foreshadow of a lot during this movie. Yeah, for things that they paid off it by the end of it. They foreshadow oh yeah, oh yeah, particularly with Kira. Yeah, yeah, I want to watch that one. I thought of that. I thought I wanted to turn to him for that. Say the moment, the moment. You gonna slap me the entire movie If I moment she said I thought about bringing her back in the next book. It's like, well, that pays off that immediately. That's what you thought about it. Yeah, because I remember I saw, I remember trailers while watching movies. I knew they had to escape on a boat. The entire her being on the boat was a payoff. No, it can't play that. Can't play that song in my head right now. Oh jeez, I mean anyone as far as the whole Train sequence things started to anybody start recalling bullet train a little bit? Well, but I'll bet Little bit. That was good.
Speaker 1:I liked a lot of the frickin action. The action was really good. It was pretty decent. Yeah, I definitely prefer a little more blood, but that's mine or that's a great. But, oh man, I laughed but I was so good.
Speaker 1:It jumped cut a little too much, you think. I think, yeah, I can see that. Like okay, fuck, fuck, it made sense when they were switching personalities, yeah, but when you're jump cutting through the action scenes all the entire time in the train, it was like that's gonna be my problem watching this is green s because I'm not knowing how screen X is gonna play it Like. If it's just jumbo size, this is gonna be very disorienting watching. You're just gonna see I'm actually just flying across screen into that chair. That would be a good shot, like Fixing his back. I'd love to try that someday. Give me a grenade. No, thank you. There was very lucky. Actual Shratton will hit me in the heart. I won't be able to iron man myself out of it.
Speaker 1:There was very action comedy I like. I like how even the cool talking is movies, but I like how they sprinkle that comedy in action movies. You don't have noticed every spy movie that's come out lately has had comedy in it, like the outside of bond. Even bond has his quips. Bond has his quips, but it's not as no, it's not like this yeah, I get it.

You did a figure eight just saying Everything in the movie didn't move back on itself. So, yeah, the entire ice skating scene probably could have survived. Oh, that was a little all. The real mystery is why all these people agreed to be in it. Wow, that's dark, that's a good, that's a diss man. Yeah, yeah, our society is just, there's a good one. It's a fast-paced fun. Newly, that doesn't feel like 139 minutes that Dean would disagree, because there's never a moment you got a disagree. I'm not saying it was bad stuff, it's just we definitely. It definitely felt long, but it wasn't so long that you're like, why am I still here?

Every time Bryce was on the screen, it was well for him. Yeah, well, he's distracted. Every time Kevill was on the screen, it was well for him. I'm still distracted. That's my man crush, I guess. Are you solid that every time, say cat was on the screen, he was Wow, animal? I don't know what else to say here. All I know is is that, uh, rock tomato is adverse of what how most people feel about movies.

I'm trying to do that, I'm trying to say it like can you get that from that? But even the fucking cat's name was the same as Sam's character. Yeah, but that Like they had all those times. But I'll, when I see it again on Tuesday, I'll have to pay attention to see if they ever explained how Aiden got. I had to Wyatt. Was that name kind of out of nowhere? There's gotta be a name play somewhere that we're just not catching. I don't think they ever said his last name. Yeah, no, I don't think they did. Even on a cast is just aided. Yeah, oh, this is just me.
Speaker 1:But I also enjoyed the Eight minutes I got. Would do a leap up to, and then they put price in the dress and like I don't like what. So it feels like same dress, the exact same dress. They gave her the hair too. Yeah, I did that. That, that was. That was that threw me off. I did, though I will say I half expected the secret keeper to be pure. No, if Matthew one had to bring back people from the Kingsman. Yeah, he did a couple. Yeah, he did Mm-hmm.
Speaker 1:Well, since that, all I know is that the trailer made it play as who is agent Argyle and I'm slightly disappointed that it wasn't a Kingsman member. Slightly, to get to the Mid-credit scene, I was expecting to hear a code name somewhere, yeah, but then they played into the Argyle movie, which is kind of torn. But it pays off. The Kingsman joke at the end of Kingsman 2, where the Kingsman set up because what was it to King Golden Circle, where they, where the rebuilding of Kingsman wasn't gonna be a tailor shop, it was gonna be in the alcohol business because they were getting it from the statesman. Yeah, so the Kingsman pub was a Spin off of that, oh, yeah. And then you set it up as the Argyle movie, right, yeah, I wonder what they're gonna do with that, because it is gonna be a shared universe. That's what Matthew one said. That, yeah, so I'm like there's gonna be another spy Singing it to somehow that we don't know about. Yeah, I got the fuck because not. Okay, we all like Argyle. It's in.

If I made a top 10 like consistency franchises for what I like and shit, kingsman would probably be in there because I love all of that doesn't sound right. No, I love all of the movies. They're all he call in his universe. No, you don't hate it. This is the first movie in the universe, so the other one was its own universe. Until you've made the next part of the universe, you don't get. Kingsman was Separate from all this, and now this is technically supposed to be the guess. Now that was in ours and shared universe. It wasn't a shared universe until this happened.

Because the MCU is starting to feel so. I've read Sony's apprehensive of connecting shit. Is that what you're trying to go big with spider-man? Possibly they don't want a connection. They don't want their shit connected as much that are out playing a lot of their connection. I mean, it helps they have their animated universe doing so well, and the fact is that, fucking I was telling them. Well, it actually has a nice pathway to succeed.
Speaker 1:It's coming out, in fact, on Valentine's Day. There's no big movies to compete with it, nothing, there's nothing. It's in the desert of movies and Sony's barely marketing it. So it's like Sony, what are you doing? Even if it's not that good, at least market it. So you get I'm gonna laugh with opening me if, like nobody, but you has it is the big blockbuster over the weekend of that, of that thing. Just because it's still going out, that movie is still going on.
